MEVA held it’s Annual General Meeting on the 6th of December 2012, during which time elections were held for positions being vacated on the Executive.  MEVA wishes to welcome the following members to their new positions:

Ed Innes – President
Neil Crawford – Vice-President
Robert Elms – Member-at-large

Secretary Roger Lepinsky and Treasurer Willard Elliott have agreed to stay on in their current positions for the upcoming year.

Outgoing President Rob McClement thanked the membership of MEVA for their passion, talent, time and resources, and in particular the support provided to him by outgoing Vice-President Mike Loewen and Member-at-large Ariel Epstein.  Rob and Mike will still be fixtures within MEVA, however we’re sad to report (but happy for him!) that Ariel and family will be moving to British Columbia in the near future.  Rob was thanked by Mike for his excellent work on behalf of MEVA and was treated to a round of applause by everyone.
